It Makes Me Happy

My little house makes me happy. We moved into a stark white house, with the exception of the master bathroom which was hot pink (no joke). So we took one of Aaron's vacation weeks last September and painted most of the house, the front, back, and garage doors. We got burned out, had a baby, and I finally got around to painting the kids rooms this summer. It feels so much more homey and warm. I love it! I finally have a master bedroom that really feels like my sanctuary...a place that is just mine and Aaron's...no kids or kid stuff. I think one of my favorite things in the house is the amazing painting of the Sacred Grove. It's beautiful and a fantastic conversation started with friends of different faiths. Anyway I put together a slide show mostly for my family who hasn't seen it. Enjoy.

I love your house! You did a great job of picking out paint and decorating. I can't wait until the day we own a house and can do all of that.
