GO AWAY RAIN!!! We have had 3 weeks of rain. Really, enough all ready! For Hayden's birthday party we thought it would be fun to have a "Wet and Wild" party and do all kinds of water games (slip and slide, water balloons, sprinklers). We couldn't have it last week due to rain, so I watched the weather for this week and earlier in the week the forecast said Saturday would be clear. So I hurried and got the invitations out and today the forecast says there is a 50% chance of rain on Saturday. So there may or may not be a party. One thing is for sure, we will be wet.
You should see our grass. It's tall, really tall. We haven't been able to cut it for 3 weeks because it's way to wet and soggy. It's going to take quite a few days of sun for it to dry up enough to cut. So in the mean time, we have a jungle, especially on the side of our house...there are places where the grass/weeds (it leads out to the trees so it's not entirely grass) are about a foot high.

You'd think you would be living in Seattle where I am, ha ha. Sounds like you've had more rai than us, although we have had quite a few baseball game rainouts. I am ready for summer, especially because we bought a/c with this house (not common here in the area, but I wanted/needed it).
