This has been a busy week!
The kids helped make Rice Crispy Treat Pumpkins and delivered them to all the neighbors.
I went with Caite's class on a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch and Hay Ride. She had a lot of fun and found just the right pumpkin...it took her forever. She was very excited to ride a school bus for the very first time.
Last night we had our Ward Halloween Party...Chili Cook-off and "trunk-o-treat". The kids ate too much candy and too little chili. Won too many cupcakes from the "Cake Walk". And got really scared in the "Spook Alley". But a good time was had by all...except Aaron he spent the night at the hospital.
We went for a family theme this year with our costumes.

We still have the real Halloween, Isaac's Honor Roll Assembly, give hair cuts to the boys, and Pack for our Vacation. We leave Sunday after church for a Family Vacation (with Aaron) to Branson Missouri for the week.

What great costumes! I'm with ya on too much candy, and we haven't even trick-or-treated yet! With the trunk-o-treat & school parties, I'm done with the candy. This is because it is my job as "mom" to "sample" the candy at all hours of the day. A little here...a little there. It's my job.
I love the ward Halloween parties. They did it different this year (or so I think, new ward and all), but it was hard with an 18 month old, since they had activities in different rooms. Not as easy as just trunk or treating as we usually do. Tomorrow night should be fun though. Cute costumes! I LOVE family costumes, they are always the cutest, but I'm not one for dressing up so the kids pick whatever they want instead. :o)

I'm already burned out on Halloween and we haven't even gone trick or treating. That's so funny the you mentioned Branson missouri. We were looking into going there for vacay as well. Let me know what you think!

I love the family theme! Looks like things have been busy but so much fun! The Halloween Fairy is visiting our house tonight. The kids leave their buckets of candy and the fairy replaces the candy with a toy!
