With the exception of last weekend, it has rained pretty much every day for the past 2 weeks!! I'm so sick of it I could scream. Our back yard and empty lot next to us are completely muddy. The few times it hasn't been raining the kids run out side, only to be attracted to the mud. I don't get it, why would you want to go outside and walk through the mud. So I have scrubbed shoes, rugs, and carpet countless times. Yesterday, when Isaac got off the bus he didn't come right in the house. I saw him in the back yard (with his uniform on) "adventuring". "Hello!!!! Do you not see the mud." "Mom do you know that if you step in mud you sink...watch." Thank heavens for Clorox 2, it got the mud out. We are on our way to Utah on Saturday. Hopefully the weather will be nice to us there.
Changing the subject to Mr. Hayden. He is hilarious. His latest thing to say when asked to do something is "Yes siree ma'am" as he salutes me. He can sing most of the words to the Jump In song "Push it, Push it to the limit, limit". Yesterday day we were playing a new game when he won he instantly jumped up and sang "We are the champions". He definately has an older brother and he picks up of things very quickly. He makes me laugh. Everyone needs a Hayden in their family.

You gotta love kids and mud. Not exactly sure what the attraction is, but it is there, for sure.
So, to answer your question on my blog, I have been sick a lot lately. A couple months ago I had sinus surgery and am now having complications from that. Right now my ear is not draining properly so there is immense pressure...owwww. I'm on all kinds of drugs and have actually been in the bed since Sunday. Thank goodness my hubby is understanding and capable of keeping things running while I'm out of the picture. I'm sure everything will be fine, I'm just really sick of being sick, ya know?
Amy I just noticed that too and was going to email you about that. I wondered if you guys were friends in Hawaii. Kelli and I became best friends when we were 12 then we both moved. Her to Virginia and me back to Colorado. After that I went to Virginia almost every year. So I knew Jen through Kelli's ward. That is too funny!
You could always move to Arizona - no rain or mud in sight. Actually, I think I'd like to see some rain/mud stuff every once in a while.
Yo would think that I would be posting about weather like this, being that I live in Seattle, but we have had gorgeous sunshine and yesterday it was a record breaking day around the 80's. :o)
Kids seem to be able to enjoy whatever weather we have regardless though.
Hope you are having fun in Utah and that the weather is "behaving" for you. I still feel bad we missed you by a month, but we were all sick anyway. Hopefully next time!
