Protest

I love to cook. I love to bake. For the most part you will find a homemade meal on our dinner table every night. For the past who knows how long EVERY time I bring the kids in for dinner they ask what we are having, I tell them and I instantly get a "I don't like that!" or "I don't want that!" That doesn't go over well with me...they eat it anyway (and always like it). So tonight in anticipation of their protest I didn't make dinner. Nothing. The result. Cereal, which I did not pour or help with. Some day they will appreciate a good home cooked meal. It might take a few more bowls of cereal.

Amy- I love you! You have to be one of the most down to earth moms I know. You are so funny and teach your children in amazing ways. I sure appreciate my parents more, now that I am a parent. I have realized that they did so much for us. Of course I should have been more appreciative to them when I was younger. Keep up the good work! You are wonderful!
