Visit from Nana and Papa

Aaron's parents a.k.a. Nana and Papa came out to visit us earlier in the month. We had a great time while they were here. They wanted it to feel like a vacation for us also, so after picking them up from the airport we headed North to Mt. Magazine to stay in "The Lodge". The view was amazing and the Lodge was beautiful. While at the Lodge we went swimming and did a little hiking. We took a little hike...more like a nature trail walk...to the highest point in Arkansas a grand total of 2753 feet high. We had a good time, the kids had fun, but most of all it was just fun to be with Papa and Nana.

Then we drove to Hot Springs because we have heard a lot of hype about that little town. We were disappointed with the actual town, but we did go to a fun Aligator Farm/petting zoo and a science museum. The museum had an exhibit about the human body that was incredible. Aaron, of course, loved it.

The kids loved the Aligators and goats. They even saw a few cougars and water turtles.
