Happy 4th of July

We had a fun filled day: starting with the Ward breakfast, then shopping, playing with friends, the Maumelle parade, BBQ with friends, and ending the night with fireworks at the lake. Aaron had to work of course, so it was just me and the crew ALL day long. Fortunately he got home just in time for the fireworks, but he wanted to go to bed, so I was able to put Halle down before heading out again.

4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays. I love the parades, the BBQ's , and the fireworks. However, without a husband around to help with the last few, I'm starting to rethink things. The most important thing is that the kids had fun, and we were surrounded with great people all day. It was a good day!

They all look so cute and festive and you did all those activities...by yourself!? Wow! I'm so impressed. You are probably used to it, huh? Great job Amy!

Looks like you guys had a great 4th! I am sorry that you were on your own with the kids but I bet they had a blast. You are such an awesome mom to get out and take the kids to all of those fun things even if you do it by yourself. Love the pictures of the kids and all the fun!

You need a "Mother-of-the-Year" award or some chocolate...

Hi Amy-

You are so funny! You are always making me laugh. It would be interesting to meet up with you as a mother a 4. I only knew you with Isaac.
It sounds like we are a lot like your family in the sense of getting out and doing things. This place is so family friendly and most everything we do is free. They have an incredible park system in our community and the surrounding communities. Many of the parks are like discovery centers.
So.. I remember when we lived in Grenada, you and Aaron seemed to be very clean and organized people. Do you have a system with your children cleaning up or do you do most of the pick up?
I think about you often. I wish we lived closer.
