The kids were out playing in the yard with the neighbors, I looked out the window to check on them and couldn't see Hayden. I found him hiding in the garage...he just pooped his pants. I brought him in, cleaned him up, bathed him, and this was the conversation that followed.
H:"Can I go back outside?"
Me (a little snippy):"No, because you just pooped your pants."
H: "Does that make Jesus sad?"
Me: "I don't know, but it makes me sad because I have to clean up the mess?"
H: "Yeah, Jesus doesn't clean up my poop. That's gross!"
I laughed and sent him back outside.
Oh the joys of Motherhood! Cleaning up poopy pants was not in our conversation when we decided to have children.

Thanks for the laugh!
Amy- you are too funny. I can hear your voice having this conversation with Hayden. Good thing you have a sense of humor.
Sounds like way too many conversations that Ian and I have had lately! He's got #1 down, but the #2s usually end up in his pants! Ugh! He's almost 4 and I am so done with cleaning it up.
What gets me through each incident is that I know he won't be going to the 4th grade with a pull-up on or even poop in his pants...can I just fast-forward??
